Greetings! As the program manager, I wanted to share a little more information about what we are trying to accomplish at the Friendship Inn.
The Board members and I come from different backgrounds, which give us a diverse set of experiences and expertise to draw from and grow our mission. All of us have one thing in common. We are passionate in helping others – especially those who have unexpected situations – and united by what the Friendship Inn stands for – a “home away from home” for families of patients at The University of Kansas Hospital.
As you can see from our website, exciting things are happening at the Friendship Inn. We can’t wait to serve more families who need us! The board focuses on making our mission a reality by making sure we have the resources necessary to keep up with current operating costs and preparing for increased expenses that come with maintaining the Inn.
